That ain't to far from me.

I can Cnc the MDF part for ya if you like.
All I ask for is you pay for the MDF

Also my mate has just recently got him self a girl friend in Manchester so the numpty pretty much every weekend travels to Manchester to see her.

Are you sure you don't mind? I'd Appreciate that massively! What's the next step then? Where do we go from there, would you like me to supply you the mdf or do you have it stocked?

I have about 120 sheets of 15 and 18mm birch plywood but ran out of MDF I think ill have to have a look.

I will need the Drawings sent to me I don't mind spending my time doing the tooling program for it but don't want to be doing a Cad drawing.

What thickness MDF?  22mm?

Could to it out of birch lol Stronger

Hi,

I just had a look on the Multi function website and noticed the slap has angled cut outs.

When I opened up the file James Sherlock sent me into my program for some reason those didn't show up.

Good job I made this one as a tester to use for my self.

Next one will have them in don't worry!

Thanks for the 2nd video.  [thumbs up]

Didn't realize that an automatic tool changer can be optioned for a CNC router. Makes complete sense, I've just never seen one in action.

Also like that your'e using ply rather than MDF.

What bit are you using to cut & speed setting on that multiply sheet?
We use Onsrud & Amana bits.

We have a multicam 3000 5x10 here and were thinking of cuttin that stuff.

You a vacuum table also?

Fill me in please.

I really need to find someone local to mill a couple of tops for me. That or buy a CNC for myself  [embarassed]

just incase some one is interested?

Interested in the MF Slab, if you're still producing them. Did you say you are pretty local to Manchester?

Long time ago!  I dont know how I missed all these posts!

Yeah a tool changer was always a must for me when I bought my CNC.  You can get them without one but the program stops and waits for you to change tool.    Nah lol

It fly's through those 20mm holes I bet it don't take long to do the whole top

Yeah it does and that does not even max feed rate it will cut quicker.  Although because its size and weight its ramp speed isnt very quick so unless it has a longer cut it wont reach full feed speeds

Sorry I never replied! I only just seen all these.
I know wont be much help now like.

I use onsrud cutters.

    Feed rate from 6000 - 15000 mm/min  Most the time 10000 mm/min
and RPM 18000-2200

Seems to give me longest cutting life on birch plywood with slight cutting marks on the edge.
