How do i calibrate the ts55 req when i use the track i want to cut 18mm .so i set saw to 18mm for track and its about 3 mm out so i have to set to 21 mm to cut 18mm .how do i adjust so the two align .thanks in advance

Yep - you're just using the wrong scale, plus you want to cut through ~1mm.

I'm pretty sure the ts has a fine adjustment screw on the depth stop. So with the saw sat on the track and the depth stop at 0 on the F scale plunge the saw down and turn the fine adjustment screw in or out so the teeth of the saw are just tickling the surface. I'm pretty sure it's something like that on my mates ts
