Trying to properly adjust the Festool wings to my Kapex.

I seem to have run out of adjustment on the left side. Always at lest 1mm long; unable to move fence any closer to saw ( without filing off part of the fence. Anyone else have issues?

I bought my Kapex 120 with the UG wings new back in 2014.
I remember adjusting both the left & right wings by a millimetre or so to get them both dialled into the blade.
As I'm right handed, I tend to use the left hand wing the most and if I recollect correctly, there is about a 7 or 8mm gap between the right hand side of the wing and thr start of the alloy saw casting.

I'm not sure why you would need to move the wings right up to the saw casting to get the measuring scale to be accurate with the blade...?
Unless, the adhesive scale has been applied way out of position...?

Can you take a picture showing your issue that may help us advise...?

Edit. I've just had a thought.....Are the UG wings the same for all the models of Kapex 120 saws...?
The latest version of the saw, I believe may be different to my 2014 model, so perhaps the way the UG wings attach may also be different and it may vary depending on the model of saw/ UG wings......Just a thought 🤔

Here is a picture of my set up showing the LH wing and a 6mm domino that wont quite drop into the gap....

Like you, I am right-handed and would like to have the RH wing properly calibrated. The LH positions similar to your photo. The RH has run out of adjustment, which might explain why I have never been satisfied with this saw.
:)

I will have some shop time today, and plan on giving it another try...
