I agree with [member=44099]Cheese[/member], no domiplate (or similar) needed. No issues with fence creeping, in case your domino does that you should send it in for service.
I would suggest the #203170 KV-SYS D8 connector set, not cheap (compared to other fasteners) but excellent to work with.
Also I would suggest a #498899 beech domino set, mainly to get a bargain on a second, spare set of cutters as nothing is more annoying than a cutter breaking in the middle of a project and having to wait for the replacement being delivered. Plus having all sizes at hand can come handy, a domino can quickly turn a user into seeing it as an excellent 'hammer'.
Also I suggest to listen to [member=57948]ChuckM[/member] and his microwave suggestion (or use a normal oven, takes longer though). Should you choose to ignore this you should sand down a bunch of dominos (and mark them with a vivid color) to use for dry fits without having to resort to heavy machinery to get them out again (which can happen with dominos that expanded from airborne moisture).
