Can a older CT26 / 22 be used as a Wet Vac?

I need to use a wet vac for a couple of home projects that I need a wet vac to do. I have a older CT 26 and CT 22. Can either of the be used as a wet vac?

If so what do I need to do in order to use them.

How old ? and maybe yes with some accessories.

The short answer is yes. Pull the bag, replace the hepa filters with the wet filters and in theory there is a sensor that shuts down the vac when the bin is full.

The filters runs $25 plus maybe shipping. You can usually pick up a 6 gallon shop vac for around $35 new or cheaper at a yard sale,

Absolutely.  All you need to do is take the bags out as well as the filter.  Then insert wet filters which are $25 for each vac.

There used to be a removal bucket you could get for the CT-22 (452925) but I suspect that might be hard to find.
