Getting ready to purchase a Vecturo, and I want to make sure that my existing TCL 3 charger can charge the BP 18 battery? Don't really care about the fast charging TCL 6 so planning to save money on the kit purchase.
'-replacement charger for cordless drills C 12, TDK 12, T 12+3, C 15, TDK 15.6, T 15+3, TI 15, T 18+3, BHC 18, PS(B)C 400/420, TSC 55, DRC 18/4, PDC 18/4, DWC 18-2500 and DWC 18-4500
-charger for NiCd, NiMH and li-ion battery packs'
The only thing it can't charge is the CXS/TXS packs, which is the same for all of the larger chargers.
I still use the TCL 3 charger daily for all my latest gen 3.1ah, 4.0ah, 5.2ah batteries.
The newer faster chargers are great, but my T18 set still lives in a SYS1 with the TCL3 charger and therefore that's the charger with me most of the time.
I still laugh at how big the systainers the drills come in are these days. Such a big box to keep a drill in.
I'm sure they thought that they were covered by listing all of the 18V tools that came with the 18V Li-ion batteries. The 12V and 15V battery names aren't explicitly listed, either, just the tools that use them as well as the battery chemistry supported (NiCd, NiMH, and Li-ion).
