Can MFT/3 support weight of a Kapex?

I have a relatively small shop and my Kapex is sitting on the floor.  When I need to use it I lift it on top of my extended cabinetsaw and then put it back down when I’m done.
I have freed up some space and can fit a MFT/3.  I won’t be using it all the time so I don’t mind the top to be completely bare and accessible (except for the MFT/3 mitre and rails).  I’m thinking of setting my Kapex on it.  The regular mini MFT for the Kapex is smaller so the middle would never sag with the weight, but long term would the MFT/3 sag or be unsuitable with the saw weight?  It is only MDF.

I can't see an issue myself. The difference in size between the Kapex MFT an the MFT/3 wouldn't suggest that the latter won't support the Kapex. You also need to bear in mind that the Kapex only weighs 21.5kg so unless your loading the saw with hefty lumber this should be fine.

I don't think the MFT/3 would have any trouble supporting the Kapex.  Not sure of your arrangement for material support extensions for the Kapex, but if you have shop space limitations it might be useful to note that the Kapex will fit on the MFT/3 along the short side.  Which would also alleviate the weight issue if you are concerned about it.

Not the question you asked, but given how you use the saw, I highly recommend the Kapex stand.  It makes it easy to put the saw away when not in use.

This ^ probably makes a lot more sense, the UG-set is cheaper than the MFT/3 and gives you portable storage and extensions.

Well a stand isn't much fun now is it?  I figured I had room for one more table so I'd rather an MFT/3 and be able to use a multipurpose table that park a stand there. Not too worried about side extension supports, I can use a roller stand thing if I need it.
