Can the Festool C-12/C-15 replace my impact driver?

Currently I use a Makita impact driver and a Makita drill/driver (18v 3.0 Ah Li-Ion). I am interested in the C-15, but don't want to keep two different batteries and chargers in my van.  The majority of time I am using the impact driver, it is to drive TrussLok screws, GRK structural screws, and other heavy-duty screws for tasks like sistering up floor joists.  The impact driver lets me do this with no problems and no need for pre-drilling.  But I really like the C series of drills and its features.  So I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these applications.  Obviously I'm not gonna get the same amount of torque out of a driver an an impact drill, but for ther applications I mentioned, could the impact driver be replaced??

And as a side-note, how does the CXS stack up in these applications?

Thanks for the input

I wouldn't compromise.  For anything larger than about a 2" drywall screw I switch to the impact driver.  My T15 can drive bigger screws than that, but it's a lot more work, with more risk of camout.

I think you'd be happier keeping your impact.  The C15 is nice drill but it can't replace an impact in the applications you mentioned.
