Hi All

A tale of their loss is my gain.
Client ordered and paid for several small drawer stacks for a wardrobe project. They were to be mounted with hanging rail between and hard shelf on top for tying together and for storage.
Client change of mind left me with a few sets (9sets) (54 drawers) to get rid off so I decided that they will make great accessory drawers for the workshop.
I think it looks quite good!

Looks great!  Also great that you got paid for the work and got to organize your shop.

Fantastic amount of storage.  Unless you really excel at "The Memory Game", I assume some drawer labels are in the works?  [wink]

Yes I think that's a great idea... [tongue]
I installed them today and got to thinking that I've got an opportunity to drawer store all my loose items but can't decide how to organise it all.
I reckon I'll start with the obvious items like clamps, router bits etc and see how far I get...unless anybody has a better idea?

Very nice looking wall! Once you get them organized and labelled that's gonna be slick.

Yes, deciding how to fill them is the toughest part.  When I moved into a new shop a year ago I purchased three 46" wide steel drawer units to go under my Kapex bench.  As a sale they included three matching 46" wide top units, maybe 20" tall.  I built a shelf about two feet high to put them on with storage underneath for site tools.

Over half of those are still empty as I haven't taken a day or two to figure out what all I want in there yet.  And yes, labels will be in order.
