Hi, I just received the CT MIDI I and I was watching a video on youtube in order to get familiar with how to use it.
I put the brake on but now it won't disengage. From the video, it seems so effortless. I'm attaching a picture - does it look like there's something wrong with the green part? (bottom corners don't look flush).
Thank you for your time.

Seems like your release button is misplaced, yes.
Try push it back and upwards.
Should look like this:

Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately, it doesn't push back at all. I'll keep trying though.

Try moving the 'foot' at the same time as pushing the green release button.

It worked! Problem solved!

Thank you both for your time!
I had the same issue with mine, took a swift pop with the fist and it retracted, and I popped the green lever not the leg

If it happens again, or becoming harder to engage or disengage because of dirt and dust, the assembly comes off with two screws at the bottom to clean and maintain.

If you look at both pictures in this thread you can see the top of the green button/lever is actually out in front of the casing and that’s where the binding is happening, that’s also what I found with mine
