Carvex 420 18v keeps stopping after a few minutes use

Hi,  has anyone else had issues with their Carvex PSC 420 EB cutting out after a few minutes use.  Restarts after a couple of minutes rest, suggesting that it’s a thermal cutout issue. 

Saw only gets uses a couple of times a month for scribing cuts.

Any help would be welcome.  Thanks

It should be able to work continuously till the battery is empty.
As of 'service all included' I would suggest to call them for a quick Q&A, likely they'll ask you to send it in.

It’s been fine until the last month. Maybe it doesn’t like the hot weather!

Unless the ambient temperature in the place you try to operate it exceeds the limites listed in the manual (like sawing down a sauna while it's active)... unlikely.
