Carvex led goes on and off?

Anybody a idea why only ½ the time the led comes on? Loose contact? :/

It doesn’t run in upside down. Apparently to not shine in ones eyes, but that feature annoys me.

I don’t think you’re referring to the flashing/strobe of the light? Also a feature to make the blade look still S as you cut. You can toggle that on/off with a combo of button presses. I have mine set to steady not strobe.

I started it side ways, wasn't aware of the function. But apparently started, and you turn it in the normal position it doesn't light up (nee to switch it off and on again).

Yes and likewise I believe if you turn it upside down after starting it the led stays on.
