If you happen to run across a Carvex for sale in the Dallas area, please bring it to my attention. It was stolen on Saturday from a dealer and the Plug-it cord and Systainer were left behind.

Thanks,
Shane

Shane,

Systainer has serial number printed on the label.
I think it would be useful to get hold of it from the dealer and post it on here. Potential buyers will have a chance to do detective work and capture the thieve(s)!

Not sure what's odd. A Carvex was stolen from a dealer in the Dallas area. Asking members to keep an eye out for it.

Serial #40038650

Festool keeps track of what serial numbers it sold to what dealer. The dealer keeps track of what serial numbers it sells to what customers. That way you can always deduce what serial number was stolen, regardless of systainer being left behind or not.

I think someone trying to sell a Carvex without a power cord or Systainer would make me a little suspicious.
