Caster Help please!

I have the Zambus castors Steve mentioned on both my assembly table and LT-18 bandsaw. Dead solid; you'd swear they were on the floor directly. Where the bandsaw is at, there's considerable difference on all 4 castors due to me placing it at an angle and that portion of the floor is just miserable.  Was very easy to level.  Same deal with the assembly table as I needed leveling feet and I do need to move it sometimes; easy with the castors rather than waiting on neighbors.

Only down side is that they take longer to lower onto the wheels than some of the foot pedal ones.  To me they are great for items you need to be able to move, but don't move that often.

Nice to know you rate them before I buy some for my workshop and find out they are crap lol!

I will be buying some my self in the future they look like they be very usefull!

I was wondering what happened to you.

You sort of vanished for a while.

Dont do that again.

I was hoping Id see you at the D & M show.

Stuff got here, Ive been setting up shop, wife's been setting up house.
Im staying out of the house as much as possible.

Trying to find a adapted from the USA 110V plug to the UK 110 plug.

Also looking at storage options, maybe going to IKEA look at some shelving or using spur shelfs.

Once I get those sorted , I got some honny dos to get busy on and some small projects lined up too.

Yeah sorry not been on for a while I have glanced a few topics every so often.

I have been to busy with jobs (I didn't get the bar job to expensive I was told) also getting my house liveable for moving in and getting the wedding sorted just got married! Then honey moon!  Then a back log of jobs which decided to all call me asking me when I'm coming!  Also sorting out the workshop when I can!

So yeah just not found much time to FOG!  XBOX or facebook

As I am writing this I'm working but didn't want to be rude not replying.

Geez JMB, looks like you went to Hogwarts!!! [big grin]

Anyway, congratulations!

Jonathan

Thank you!

Funny you should say that I was told they did consider a part of the school for Harry Potter!

Congratulations mate

That's a nice school do they let anyone get married there or are you special :-)

Congratulations!  Just celebrated my 19th Anniversary, and wouldn't trade her in for the world!  Hope you have the same experience. [smile]

While woodworking is a growing hobby for me, I am a much more accomplished semi-pro photographer, and your wide view photo in your original post was a little disconcerting.
Hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty of giving you an option that you might get your photographer to duplicate with Lightroom and/or Photoshop.

I removed the jet contrail in the sky that draws your eye away from the primary subject, and corrected the wide angle Fish-eye effect.  Now I really like the picture! [tongue]

Just a friendly suggestion as a possibility for you. If this was taken by a professional, he/she should be able to really make this pic SHINE! Oh.... Love the car!! [thumbs up]

Corrected version of "Wedding-48". (Took five minutes in Photoshop and Lightroom)

Cheers,

Frank

I like that you made the horizon properly horizontal in the shot, too, Frank.  That's something that always bugs me.

Or this, I bought a US 110 socket and then cut a square hole in the end of a UK site plug total cost about £5.00

You need to be an old Denstonian!
So you need to have been to the school to get married there! but I am special also!

They can only do a few weddings a year, they only do it on Saturday's and kids go school on Saturday so holidays are the only times they can do it.

Cheers,

Frank

We hired two Photographers.   These photos where taken by a photographer who does it for a hobby and took the pictures for us to use them instantly for the night guests to see on a projector. So he had no time to edit any of them.  The other photographer refused to do it.

Looking back we wish we hired just this one he was very cheap and his pictures are good even though they have not been edited a lot of natural pictures!   The other "professional" photographer who is very expensive and has edited his pictures which we received this Friday are terrible really disappointed with them! his editing is shocking!

Price!  The one who took the pictures above cost us £100 he stayed all day and early night because we fed him.

The "professional" one charging £1300 didn't even stay for cutting the cake made us do a fake cutting cake shot and his samples he showed us on Friday are poor!

I only like 20% of his as the other hobby photographer I like 90% of his pictures!

And like you said with a bit of editing they will look good.

Ill get some of the samples up from the professional tomorrow and show you how shocking they are!

Thanks JMB!! The weather forecast isn't looking as good what you had. It should be a good day. We have had to do it to a very tight budget as work hasn't been plentiful this year

i only found this tread today.
i noticed the fog was very easy reading lately then i copped that jmb wasnt around.
i went looking and found this.

congratulations jmb and to you too john.
