So, at last month's Charlottesville Festool Event, I could not help but admire how much stability the Cross Members added to the MFT/3. I just ordered them and, a pain in the arse later, finally installed them. Scamper the Cat really appreciated this as I recently relocated the MFT/3 to my basement and it is his new favorite throne to look for evil birds and chipmunks outside [attachimg=#]invading his space!

Great idea, Scamper is a great cat, but, has this problem with hair balls. Don't tell PITA, but, that low setting on my CT-36 might be just the solution! I sure am glad I got the Workshop Cleaning Set. Maybe I should include that and Scamper in the Festool Video Contest!
Bench dogs are plentifull...... Not seen any bench cats before! [big grin]
I have a set of these bench struts and as you say, they do make the bench a lot more sturdy. Never have to take the bench out of the workshop so no problem as far as collapsing the bench for site use is concerned.
