CDD 12FX ECU 45 Charger burnt board

I have just got hold of second hand CDD 12 FX cordless drill/screwdriver.  The charger board on the ECU 45 Charger has a burnt component so is only putting out 7.2 volts and therefore not charging the 12 volt 30 AH batteries.  It looks like either a MOSFET or possibly voltage regulator; there is a MC 7805 5 volt regulator next to the burnt component.  Is there anywhere I can get a parts list and circuit diagram of the board to attempt to repair the charger board?  I am in Johannesburg South Africa.  Or is there an alternative charger I could use that is not the exorbitant price I saw for a new one... R3, 500.00!  Anyone else had a similar problem.  Many thanks, Bruce
