Hello all.  What is the easiest way to center router bit on wood stock when using the CMS router table?  I tried it out doing it by eye and it ended up a bit off center.  Is there a good easy way of doing it besides using test pieces?

When I want to 100% center a dado using my table saw, I cut in two passes.  One in each direction.  That guarantees that the dado is in the center.  You do have to use a dado setting about 2/3 the total size of the dado.

I don’t have the equipment you describe.  Can you make the slot in two passes?

Yep i can make it in 2 passes

Well, as long as you are going in opposite directions you should end up with it centered.

This video shows it better.
