DEALERS, is it possible (in the U.S. or Europe) to just order the Centro-tec INSERT TRAYS for the 2010 centrotec set (497628 )Systainer?

The inserts tend to have a part number if I'm not mistaken.  I'm sure someone with the insert could chime in with the number and you could order it like any other part.

Hi Ossietim,

Here are the part-numbers for the Centrotec 2010 T-Loc systainer:
700778 bottom insert
700779 drill cassette insert (left)
700780 bits insert (right)

I think it will be difficult to order the parts already.
I'm trying to order a few sandpaper systainer inserts for the new T-Loc systainers, but until now they cannot supply these.
They also have numbers starting with 700xxx.

Yes it is! At least in Germany:

bottom:    Einlage SYS SYS 1 CE-SORT Bode mit Bestell-Nr. 700778 7,45 Euro plus MwSt.
top left:    Einlage SYS SYS 1 CE-SORT oben links Bestell-Nr. 700779 5,15 Euro plus MwSt. und
top right:  Einlage SYS SYS 1 CE-SORT oben rechts Bestell-Nr. 700780 5,15 Euro plus MwSt.

Unfortunatley only for the 2010 version (T-Loc)

I guess the T-Loc version will not fit in the classic SYS or has someone tried?

Thanks  neeleman and Festoller,
That's great news...Can you suggest a german dealer my friend in Germany can order them for me.I have brought many items from Gerschwitz Holzfachmarkt GmbH but they don't have them yet.

Thanks again ossie

Gerschwitz can't order the trays?

Festool told me to either order through them (Festool) directly or my local dealer. If that doesn't work, ask your friend to write an email to vertrieb@tooltechnicsystems.com

I was able to get these and my friend is sending them to me
Does any one know if these  2010 Centrotec trays
fit into a classic systainer#1 as they do in a T-loc #1??
thanks

Tim,

I would imagine that those fit the original systainers whereas the selection was released before the T-Locs (I believe).

Peter

Peter,

I could be wrong, but I believe the centrotec 2010 set was only ever released in a t-loc. I pre-ordered mine in the UK in September last year and it came in a T-loc.

Richard.

Tim,

I think that Richard has more accurate information than I do.  Once again.  [thumbs up]

My memory had that set being released earlier.

Thanks Richard!

Peter

Peter and Richard i seem to remember seeing that centrotec set in a classic before the t-loc launch(like you said Peter)?
H
hmmm.... i'll investigate a bit more

It was a different centrotec set, but I have no idea if the inserts were the same.

The centrotec 2010 inserts , do fit a classic systainer.

Because I already had the centrotec bits that I use the most and the full set does cost a lot, I ordered only the inserts and put together my own centrotec special edition  [big grin] in a T-loc with top lit
Works perfectly for me.

Thanks Chub that's great info.
Maybe i can offer you an "original" printable file for the  Centrotec cardboard for your under your systainer lid ? PM me your email and i'll send you the file

Chub,
would you please post a picture of the T-LOC lid with the drills in it. Are the inserts provided with the drills (i.e. PROTOOL) ?

Ingo

Yes, they are the drillbits with inserts from Protool.
The inserts will fit the classic systainers with top lit; but for the inserts to fit the T-loc sys, I've cut away the top and bottom edge from the insert (just the flat part) and rounded over the corners a bit.
The width and height of the inserts are ok and will fit right away.

Chub, the classic systainer's lid has these small protrusions so that you 'click' the trays in to secure them, does that still work with your T-Loc adaptation?

How do you like the stone drills? Still on edge about buying them myself.

The inserts have a tight fit and you can leave a small edge so they hook behind the protrusions

As for the stone drills....perfect in bricks (off course useless in concrete)
I use them only in normal drilling mode and not in hammer/percussion mode. They perform quite good that way.
