Does Festool sell any Centrotec bit that works with the Kreg Jig and DowelMax?

If so, link and detail would be much appreciated.

Snappy makes a 6" square drive bit.  Atlas also makes Centrotec square drive bits, but they are only 4" long.  Don't know about imperial drill bits.

Scroll down for the 6" Snappy square drive.

What about a 3/8" and 1/4" drill bit in Centrotec so that I can use it with the Dowelmax.

Festool had a limited run of imperial sizes drill bits in the installer set. Might work for DowelMax, but not for Kregg jig. Not available any more anyway.
Try Snappy, a US company that makes Centrotec compatible bits.

This is probably what you're looking for to use in the DowelMax. However, as Svar noted, it was a limited production kit, run about 2 years ago, P/N 201312.

The problem then was, and still is, that Festool never made individual replacement drills available. So if you lost one or damaged one, well that's just too bad...they called it tough love. [sad]

Snappy makes a 1/4" (also available in a set), and 3/8" centrotec bits (not in the set). Shop the net to find them. But no step (?) drill bit for the Kreg.

Brad point bit or Forstner style bit?
