Centrotec Systainer for the USA

I asked my Festool rep' about it last week. I'm waiting for an update...

That's last years set, here's the one for 2008...

I like the look of that centrotec system much more than the one from a year ago.  It looks like you can adapt a drill to centrotec system that is quite interesting.

I just saw one on SMC with only 3 bits slightly used sell for $300  :'(

It would be great if they would put out an Imperial version of this, kind of like they did with the base kit for the OF2200.

Any update if they are going to release this in the US?  I am thinking about getting a C12 but I am kind of put off that you can only buy brad point bits for the centrotec chuck.  It looks like in the picture you can change the bits out with an allen wrench.

I ordered one of the sets last week, I bought a protool hammerdrill two weeks ago and waited for a demo to compare the protool centrotec set to the festool one. Unfortunately the festool guy didn't have a new centotec systainer with him. The protool guy set that the longer bits of the festool set wouldn't stand up if I were to use the protool drill to it's full potential.
But I liked the fact that the festool set came with the conversion bit, and the slip on magnetic ring, which I hope is compatible with my impact driver bits.
So I ordered a few of the shorter heavier duty protool bits, the protool masonry drills, and a few festool countersink bits. (The protool centrotec set is not a limited offering, so it can be ordered later if I would want it)

The bradpoint bits are for wood and are one piece, the masonry bits are one piece aswell, but the HSS bits have spares, and can be changed with the allen key like you said, only difference with regular bits for steel is they have a flat spot, where it's locked in the sleeve with the allen key.
I'm pretty sure the HSS drillbits can be ordered seperately aswell.
