Ok I've jumped fully into the green kool-aid and love the tools I have received already. I bought my first Festool tool on May 13th of this year and have kept buying for the last 2 months. I have accumulated a TS75, CT36, MFT/3, Domino 500. RO90 sander, CXS drill, boom arm set, Installers cleaning set, Sys roll, domniplate, various clamps and the M0700 Centrotec Zobo Installers Set. This last item the Centrotec set is what I have a question with. I just received it last Friday, it's beautiful. Didn't have much of a chance to do anything this past weekend with it, so tried it out today, I needed a flat bit to use in the CSX, so I grabbed the long flat bit, it's labeled 0,8x5,5 on the space it fills in the systainer. Well literally on my very first screw that I went to tighten with the CXS, the bit broke. The top chipped off in half. I was very surprised as I spent $445 for this set and the first time I use it the bit breaks. Is there a warranty for this, am I to expect the rest to break this easily? I did use a torx bit a little later with no issue, worked just fine. Shane or anyone else, any idea if there is a warranty for this bit, does anyone else have any experience with broken bits on the Centrotec sets?

Welcome to the forum. Sorry for the issue with the bit. Even the very best manufacturers have a dud every once in a long while. Shoot me your address and phone in a PM or email and I'll send a replacement for you.
