on my kapex. Ohhhhhhh myyyyy LOL its funny how you can get used to something, sorta like an old car that you get used to having iffy brakes.
I hadn't changed the blade since I got the kapex- 2 years back? I cut everything! mostly MDF though. I install crown/baseboard etc. (my business) so this saw gets used a lot. I also use it around my house, cutting 2x10's for the new deck, composite deck boards. It still cut great, but when I was into my Festool dealer the other day they had a 2 blade special, I think $220.00? One an 80 tooth? and one regular.
I installed the 80 tooth. Wow! smooth as butter
and its a really slick system for changing the blades too, it only takes a minute or so and you are back to work.
I've long since forgotten the price I paid for this saw, as it keeps on producing top quality cuts, even with my old blade.
