Grrrr.  Among the accessories I stocked up on before the April price increase was a 5000mm package of rail splinterguard.  Finally opened it up today to change out the guard on one of my rails and discovered that it was only 1080mm long.  Not blaming the dealer -- I should have checked when I bought it.  But annoyed nonetheless.

I don't understand the "Not blaming the dealer" part - they sent you the wrong item.... you shouldn't have to double-check them... why should you have to do their job too?

I bought the metal drill set (1,5 to 10mm) and there was no 5,5mm as labeled but two 6mm drills instead. My dealer gave me one no questions asked. Still, feels kind of silly having to ask for what was supposed to be in the package...

Edward, did you receive the wrong part number, or did you order the wrong part?  If the former, then a call or email to you dealer might get you the correct one exchanged....  If the later, well, that would be on you.....  :)

Someone switched them, and got the longer one for the shorter ones price. This has happend to me at HomeDepot. When buying a more expensive electrical receptacle, in a box, and getting home only to find a cheep receptacle in the box. HomeDepot has always exchanged for the correct one.

Edward,
Was the 1080 splinter guard in the 5000mm box?
