Beautiful box.  I have a fascination with the Japanese Carpenters boxes.  Here is a YouTube channel that is not often visited that should interest some.  Who I watched the first video I admit that [member=4358]derekcohen[/member] 's hand tool skills came to mind.

That's very nice looking, beautiful gift.
I have looking for an idea for a project to give away in one of those White Elephant type parties.
I have been accused of cheating in these before though, with hand-made projects. They are supposed to be  no more than $30. I say it cost me essentially nothing, because it's left-over wood. It's not my fault that people were darn near fighting over a cutting board.  [big grin] Value and cost are not necessarily linked in a linear way  [wink]
This particular group is a bunch of drinkers, some wine, others Bourbon.
