Citroen Relay H2L2.......Again!

Took delivery of the new relay last week so spent the weekend racking one side for the systainer collection. This side is much the same as the van that was written off except I have covered the side door which I never use. Top and bottom shelf are dominoed for a bit of rigidity with all the rest pocket screws so they can be moved fairly easy if required.

How do you find the van I'm thinking of buying the l3 h2

This one is my third. First one I had for ten years with 100,000 trouble free miles on regular servicing and brake pads,tyres and a battery. The second one was only 9 months old when it was written off. This new one has the 130 HP engine so a lot more torque and the level of comfort and trim level is great. It does not have a CUPHOLDER which baffles me so I made a ply box that clips in the dash with a hole for my cup and a slot for the phone. I didn't spec much in the way of driver comfort ( AC, Sound system, better seat etc) because I do fairly short journeys as I work locally doing 2 or 3 refurbishments a year. It drives nice and has the lowest height step up into the back in its class. This is my 7th van and I've never owned a transit!

It would be pleasure [member=1674]Peter Halle[/member]  [big grin]. I lived and worked in Iowa for 5 years in the early 90's ( Go Hawkeyes ) and loved it. Learnt a lot about timber frame and dry lining whilst I was there which has stood me in good stead over here. Don't miss the winters though, that Canadian air was cold!
