The rapid clamps will hold well on slight angle's or tapers.

the only weakness of the guiderails is I still don't know how to let's say cut in 2 halves a 8'x4''x1'' board along it's length while supporting it on 2 MFTs side by side. There's no place to install quick or regular clamps. But maybe the rapid clamps would help ? What is the height of those rapid clamps ?

the board is too narrow for support. In this case you add a 'filler' board under rail and clamp it down to the MFT's. the no-slip strip and tension from the guide being clamped down should hold the board in place for cutting.

You probably do not want the rapid clamps in any point of this equation
