Clamping to CMS-GE

The router plate and the TS55 saw plate have finger holes and slots to aid insertion and removal which I use with the normal guide rail clamps to hold jigs etc. The pic below is not great but illustrates this.

the finger holes are a good idea but not always suitable.
well..."minus that bottom profile" means minus a very very important clamping possibility...
i am using the cms-of with it.
 
I have used a large F clamp to clamp to the OF table by using a 100x50mm wood packer under the table, it worked well if a little fiddly to to (you need three hands!)
For long term jigs I would not be adverse to drilling and tapping the top for a couple of strategic fixing points, for say a feather board.

It's just a shame the sliding table for the CMS / Precisio CS 50 doesn't allow clamps. The sliding tables for the Precisio CS 70 do.
