I needed a few extra clamps for the MFT but no other clamp would fit through the 20 mm holes. But I have a few reversible clamps (OK, from Craftsman). So I removed the head, stuck the bar through the hole and attached the head again. Worked perfect.
I'm sure everybody could have thought of this, but I don't remember seeing it on the forum.

If they work well, sounds great to me!

Plus I'm sure you can't beat the price.  When are you going to paint them green? [big grin]

Cheers!

Another clamp that works well is the Jorgensen Hold-Down Clamp for Workbenches (http://www.adjustableclamp.com/hd-1652.htm):

"Style No. 1652

Excellent tool for gluing, repairing, or hold-down projects. This glass-filled nylon hold-down clamp is designed for workbenches and work tables. A versatile addition to any tool box. Quick and easy adjustments to and from the work using the release locking nut that slides freely on the threaded shaft. Serrated hold-down jaws prevent slipping and can adjust to work being clamped and locks into position with the locking lever. "

[smile]

This is not meant as a replacement for the regular Festool clamps, I just needed clamping on the MFT when I had no Festool clamps left. It takes a few extra seconds to install the clamps but they worked well. I will buy a few more Festool clamps in a few days.
Beside screw clamps I will also buy clamping elements, they are so handy.

My Second for the jorgensen clamps. I have a swath of them, they work as hold downs, bench stops... Hooks, can't beat them with a stick.

hi
here's a solution with little F clamp , you must open the clamp (with a file) and have a part of clip (for drawing) :
