Cleaning/Rejuvenating Polishing Felts (for Rotex)

Hi FOG,

I have some polishing felts that I use for buffing wax and wax/oil finishes (on wood).  The felts have gummed up quite a bit.  Wondering if anyone had any tips and tricks for rejuvenating them.  I soaked one in Simple Green overnight and it made a bit of difference. 

Any other suggestions would be appreciated!

I would try the solutions sold for auto polishing pads, I'm amazed at how well it cleans up pads and towels.  I spray it on and add Dawn dish washing, massage it in and rinse under warm water and the results are wow.

Either Griots Garage Microfiber and Pad cleaner, or possibly Denatured Alcohol if the Griots cleaner doesn’t work for you.
