If you have any scratches, I suggest you use this. It is possibly NAINA.

You're being a little cruel to the NAs [smile]

It is Friday afternoon here, listening in on a 2 hour teleconference. Perhaps I need to put a disclaimer in my signature for all posts after 12:00pm (GMT+10) on Friday afternoons.

Chloride, watered down of course, works miracles. Make sure you ‘rinse’ with water afterwards. Paint and such: use waterproof sandpaper, 3m pads, etc.

really ? and it doesnt scratch ?

I've cleaned a lot of systainers with Magic Erasers and never detected any scratching. The grit is apparently fine enough that it is more like polishing.

Incidentally, they work best for me damp.

That would be them except mine don't have the French on the box, and I'm half French - how ironic...

Thanks.

Really? A thread about cleaning systainers?

I may have used a leaf blower on mine once.

C'mon man, I at least use a blow nozzle.

I clean my tools sometimes, never my toolboxes.

Some people don't like their tools to look all roached out with coffee stains and such...
Some people do...
Of course I don't really notice as much until I get a new one

So the ring marks from red wine and the stains from olives doesn't concern you? I'm moving to glass fronted, dust free display cases for all of my Systainers ... I think I will call them Display Ports [wink]

I use a leaf blower to clean (dust) the whole woodworking area and if the systainers are out they get "cleaned".
