cms accessory systainers?????????????????????????????????????

Hi there,

I'm looking for a storage solution for my CMS accessory's, i need to store the bits and pieces for the router and the plunge saw but the storage system festool proposes is way to big and not really practical to go and work on location. Ideally it would have to fit in 2 systainers but the maxi systainer only fits the tabletop and not the rest of the components. Does anyone know a brand of systainers that would do the job.

Interesting question I also would be interested in suggestions from members.

We will probably have to build it ourselves like the wooden systainers, just in taller sys maxi.

Resurrecting an older thread here.  I recently became fortunate enough to pick up a CMS GE for a decent price.  Before setting it up, I wanted to make sure I had a way to transport the components from site to site without stressing out too much.  So, I built a box out of scrap 3/4 plywood using 5x30 domino's, Styrofoam, and some pipe insulation wrapped around 14x140 domino's to keep the parts from sliding around. 

I started with a length that would fit the sliding table rail, and then worked the components in from there on a flat piece of plywood to rough out the dimensions (49" long x 13.5" wide x 13" high). I inserted a 14x140 domino into a section of pipe insulation, then pressed the exposed end into the foam board to mark the locations for plunging. The clasps that I used are a little flimsy, so I plan on replacing those for something larger that will hold better and can be locked. I wasn't able to accommodate the extension table or the feather board, so I'll just keep the extension table mounted/folded and the feather board will go in the empty router systainer (keeping the router mounted during transport). I don't intend to sand or paint the box in festool colors, it just needs to be functional.

So far, pretty solid and nothing slides around. Hope this provide some ideas.
