CMS for CARVEX

Like the demonstration.... BUT I think its time for me to apply at Festool Germany to be a sales rep  [wink] Someone has to stop my fellow Germans from speaking english  [tongue] [eek] [big grin]  Just kidding, but when ever I hear a Germans speak english I cringe and I always hope that I don't sound the same  [tongue] [eek] [blink]

He's using a protool batterie on his carvex i do the same but i don't like to because the protool baterrie is bigger and looks odd on the carvex  it makes my carvex look ugly lol.

The CMS insert module is the same, you just need the guide rail adapter (497303). I think this adapter is included in the accexoires systainer. I have no idea why Festool doesn't mention this on the website when you look at the CMS modules. The only place on the website where you can find confirmation of this, is in the details page of part nr 497303.

I think the redesigned EU Festool websites are a huge dissapointment. To give one example, I can't find what is included in the acc. systainer of the carvex set. The site only states "1 acc. systainer is included" There is a picture so I can guess what's in there, but for €200 more, I like to know, not guess. Festool EU can learn something from the US staff.

cheers,

Philippe

I could not see Festool re-jigging for a new table for the carvex, I am still surprised that there are two tables for the TS55 and TS75 [jawdrop] I am also in agreement with Philippe that the Festool web sites in europe leave much to be desired in terms of information sharing, but that seems to be the way they work, there are so many benefits or clever uses/techniques for many products that just do not get mentioned by Festool online or in the manuals. For those little gems we have to turn to the FOG and those who post here and for the likes of Rick Christopherson who take the time to post 'How to's' or better user manuals. ( I mention Rick as i really appreciate the end user manuals he has made available, they have been very helpful then some. Brice Burrell is another very helpful guy, not just here but on other Fora too, sharing his end user knowledge freely.) There are many others, maybe Festool DE should contract a few to help out!
