Several years ago a friend from the UK brought a CMS-TS 75 (NAINA) to the US so that I may use my TS 75 as a portable table saw in my CMS-GE table. Normally my CMS-GE is configured as a router table, so I needed a place to store the CMS-TS 75 when not in use. Fortunately the retaining panel (the table saw top) just fits into the Maxi-Systainer with a minor modification. There are reinforcing ribs on the sides of the Maxi-Systainer with small tabs on top of the ribs which hold the retaining panel too high. Simply grasp the tab with pliers and snap them off, leaving a support for the retaining panel to rest on at the correct height to allow the lid to close (see photos for before and after tab modification).
For the remainder of the CMS-TS 75 components I cut a piece of 30 mm thick Kaizen foam from FastCap (https://www.fastcap.com/product/kaizen-foam) to fit into the bottom of the Maxi-Systainer. Each component was used as a template to trace around and the foam was cut out, leaving a thin layer on the bottom of the foam to protect the Maxi-Systainer bottom. Foam panels were also added to the inside of the Maxi-Systainer lid to protect the retaining panel.
My next project will be to build a similar storage solution for the CMS-GE router retaining panel and components for storage in a different Maxi-Systainer.
