Colored Osmo Poly oil question

I finished up some commissioned pieces with regular Osmo poly oil, but there's a possibility that the client might prefer a slightly darker finish. I'm wondering if it's possible to apply on top of the two coats of Osmo that are already there another coat of the tinted oil Osmo makes, or whether I would have to strip the existing finish and apply the tinted Osmo directly on the wood?  Thanks for any advice.
 
I can't help you much but osmo works at as microporous oil in theory it should work but be careful with osmo tints make sure it's well spread then wipe of I have learnt the hard way even though I done what the instructions said. They dos osmo wax remover. Here are some photos of the cock up this product is called raw
