No matter how tight I tighten the knob on the bevel it always moves after about 3 or 4 times of use, using it for right angle cuts on 600mm panels I have to keep squaring it of a known square edge, is this common or am I missing something. I just can't trust it not to move. It's only new and has been doing this since I first used it.

Yes, the Angle Unit has been an issue for many here for years. My belief is that the problem is a result of Festool shipping the Angle Unit with the knob tightened fully and thus compressing the spring too much, leaving it unable to provide the proper tension any longer. Some have tried to modify their Angle Units by placing abrasives between the washers, and others have added a washer or two. I've tried both 'fixes' and found that two washers worked for me.
