Does anyone know if you can use duralaq primer under kem Aqua plus or should I not mixed different manufacturers together. I find duralaq sands better than kem Aqua undercoat.

Not that I'm an expert on this, but the one thing I keep hearing from people who's recommendations I trust is to stay in one system and not mix manufacturers. And if you encounter problems, the manufacturer will most likely end any conversation at the point where you have to admit you used something outside the system.

That said, you could always use some scraps and test drive what you want to "mix".

Kind regards,
Oliver

Ok thanks. I posted this in the wrong spot meant to post in finishing and painting.

For what it's worth, and this isn't to contradict anyone else's opinion, I use Zinsser BIN or Zinsser Bullseye 123 Plus under all manner of products and never had any problems - I guess there's a certain amount of logic to the fact that a properly prepared surface, with an appropriately bonded primer that has has time to dry will be compatible with all manner of top coats. That's my personal experience.
