Connect in Providence Next week/will there be products sold?

Hello,
I'm new to this board, as I do not yet own any Festool products.  I am thinking about attending next weeks Connect event, and am wondering if there will be any product sales taking place...or should I just go to my local rep/store.  FYI, I'm about 15 miles north of Providence in MA.

Welcome to the forum and we look forward to meeting you next week at Connect.

Festool does not sell direct and because of the nature of the Connect event, we do not allow dealers to solicit sales at the event. We just want a laid back atmosphere where we can meet and greet our customers and enjoy the day together. There may be some dealers in attendance, however.

There are no promotions that will be offered at the Connect event or JLC. Attendees do get free swag and we have various prizes and giveaways throughout the day.

Thank you for the quick response.  I guess I have no excuse to go and grab a vacum and sander to start some project around the house.  [big grin].  Luckily I have a very understanding spouse that is cool with me buying tools as long as I get stuff done around here.
