Connecting 36mm hose to CSC SYS 50

I am trying to connect a 36 mm hose to my new CSC SYS 50 table saw.  This bigger hose will not connect directly onto the port provided.

I reached out to Festool USA service and was told to use the tracksaw adaptor part no. 202096.  It's the port connection from the TS55.  So I went to my local store and purchased one of these to try it out.  It doesn't work.  It goes on the table saw port, but it doesn't go on deep enough to be able to turn it so it locks on.

What I want is an adaptor with the same bayonet as the dust bag.  The bag connector goes on over the table saw port, it turns a quarter turn and is now locked on.

So has someone else figured this out?  Is it a different track saw with a different adaptor that will not only go on, but also turn to lock on?  I saw a Youtube short video from Festool UK where they talked about a tracksaw adaptor, but they gave no specifics about which track saw and therefore which adaptor to use.

Help needed.  Festool USA's prescription doesn't work.

The TS 55 and TS 75 both use the same adapter.

Did you take the saw-side port off of the adapter before attempting to install it?

My understanding is that the adapter includes a piece that is replaced inside the tracksaw housing; I believe you may need to take the fitting off of the saw side of the adapter to expose the bayonets to get it to seat and lock on to the CSC SYS 50.

[member=59771]air19[/member]  This is the part that Festool USA told you to get. Note that this comes with an additional piece that you won’t need to use on the CSC-SYS 50. (As mentioned by squall_line) I have painted that part red. If you grab ahold of that painted piece, and then rotate the ribbed lock collar, the two pieces will separate and you can attach the larger piece to the table saw. Just like you do on your Track Saw. If the piece you got from you local dealer doesn’t look like this, then please post a picture.

Your picture is exactly the part I was trying to get on.  I called up my neighbor who is a former rock climber with impressive grip strength.  After a couple of attempts he was able to muscle it on.  Problem solved.  The good news is that it won't be coming off during regular use, the bad news is that I certainly won't be able to get it off.

So my issue, lack of grip strength, I apologize Festool.

However...  I can easily take the dust bag on and off.  I would have expected to be able to do the same with this part.  They are somehow manufactured with slightly different tolerances to make one easy for me, and the other beyond my abilities.

Thanks everyone for chiming in.

For anybody having trouble getting the adapter to lock, I put some tape on the teeth of some larger water pump pliers (to protect the plastic), then just twisted the adapter on that way. I fumbled around for longer than I care to admit trying to figure out why it wouldn't lock on by hand.
