[size=14pt]The reason I originally asked for assistance here is that I am installing a semi suspended laminex bench off a kitchen bench, through a servary, and into a butlers pantry. Most of the bench support will come from the wall noggin and one rail attached to the servery wall. There will be another rail on a short side wall in the pantry and an adjustable tubular leg opposite. The latter may eventually be replaced by a yet to be built cabinet.
I wanted an easy way to attach the underneath of the bench to the wall rails. Seth's method was one in my mind when I first posted. However these or similar clips were not available at my nearest two hardware stores this morning AESST. Rural area. [sad]
Consequently later in the day I used available materials and adapted RL's method, using re-machined scrap 42X19 pine, and 5X30 dominos.

In the sequence of 4 images you see my collection of 8 button blocks, two images showing one attached to the rail as a trial and one showing a pant brush wrapper which I used as an offset under the D500 fence [refer RL's video].
Thank you all for your support and inspiration. [smile]
