Connecting AS hoses

I have a TS-75.  I also bought (used) a CT-33 which came with two lengths of hose, both of which have the proper fittings to connect the CT-33 to the saw.  I wanted to connect the two hoses, but can't figure out how to do so.  They obviously won't connect to each other.

Do I need to buy some adapter, do I need to remove the fittings off the hose, and then buy an adapter, or ?? My setup is about 2-h away and I won't be there until the weekend (so I can't read part #s off the pieces), but was hoping to order in the needed parts before then.

I looked on the Festool website and looked in the catalog and can't find anything that indicates what size hose the TS-75 uses.

Thanks everyone !

Does the article How to connect two hoses help at all?

As bobbobbob says, can you remember whether the hose you have at the moment slips over the outside of the rotating dust fitting on the saw, or does it push into the fitting?

Forrest and bobbobbob, thank you very much for your replies.

Forrest - thanks for the link .  I hadn't found that link :-[, though I still would have needed to figure out what size hose I was looking at.

Both hoses I have are the same sizes.  The ends with the larger fittings fit over the intake port on the CT-33.  The ends with the smaller fitting fits into the TS-75's dust collection port.  Sounds like these are 27mm hoses.  Now I guess I need to order the parts, but sadly I see the article Forrest links to suggests this is very inefficient  :(

Thanks again!
