Contradictory statement on Vacuum receptical

So on the Vacuum receptacle it states "to reduce the risk of fire do not connect any tool rated for 3.7 amp max" or something along those lines. What i don't understand is how you can connect festool tools to the vacuum when tools such as the Kapex are rated at 13 amps. I know that is a maximum amp but it could hit that in hard cutting situation. It makes me wonder if this is the problem associated with the kapex motor failure incidents. If you don't believe me then google it. It seems to affect the 120v and not the 240v market. If a tool get starved of the amps it needs doesn't it hurt the motor? It makes it run inefficiently. Is there a minimum amp receptical that should always use your apex on? 20amp vs 15 amp

This is a subject that has come up many times here.  You can use the higher amp tools safely in combination with the CT's.  The labeling has something to do with legalities of some sort.

That you for the quick response. Have their been any indicators that it is different in 240V vs the 110v market? I know the higher volts is more efficient and better for tools.

The issue with the labeling is NA exclusive which doesn't offer the 240 volt machines.

Has everything to do with the plug at the end of the cord. People complained about the dongles so Festool went to 15 amp plugs.

Tom is referring to the short adaptor cord that was on the older CTs that adapted the  20 amp plug to the standard.
