As for cordless vacs, I think the current "state of the art" is the new 2 x 18 V Starmix/Cordless Alliance Vac. has this sewn up with their near-corded performance; 4000 L/min, 240 Bar Vac., Capacity; 25 L, runtime; up to 100 mins & auto on/off operation; via tool-mounted remote vibration sensor.

I have the smaller almost Sys Metabo cordless vac that has two speeds and uses a single 18v battery. Has a very small bag and doesn’t run very long. I think Makita has the best stuff at this point.

To get me to leave the Dewalt 20v platform theyre going to have to really up their options though. Drill, impact, blower, inflator, chopsaw all the same batteries. I don't see a portable battery bank being the answer for me, but it is interesting.
