Cordless hammer drill

Just wonderd peoples thought on the cordless hammer drill as was looking to purchase one?

At 1.8 joules of impact energy it's a bit anaemic for an SDS rotary hammer, but then it is lightweight and compact so that's a bonus. I guess it depends on what you want to use it for. You're going to be out of luck if you want to drill through exterior walls, but it would be perfect for for smaller tasks like drilling for installing door and window anchors, fixing kitchen cabinets, etc.

Is it a SDS rotary hammer drill?  Or just a hammer drill?  The SDS rotary is far far far superior.  I have used regular hammer drill to drill into concrete.  Took FOREVER to drill little holes.  And I have used SDS rotary hammer drill to drill into concrete.  Just like drilling into wood, it was so easy and quick.  How much concrete drilling are you going to do where electricity is not available?  Seems to me most concrete has electricity very close so you can just plug in a nice good SDS rotary hammer drill.  Most concrete work is also something you plan and think about.  Unlike wood where quick action is frequent and cordless is good.  With concrete you think exactly where you are going to drill a hole and plan and calculate how and where.  Plenty of time to also figure out where you are going to get the electricity to operate the SDS rotary hammer drill.  I don't see much need for quick light maneuverable finesse when working with concrete.

The Festool rotary hammer drill it is SDS but ins not able to work in Chisel mode..

it has a unique decoupling of the handle from the business end so it is very low vibration for the user..

Yes i have just purchased this one has good reviews and only want it for light work scirting ect i have a 110v for chisel action if need be. Thanks guys
