I bought the 1010 long ago. Then I added the OFK500. The 500 is great for simple (small) round-overs. After some years I got tired of manually centering the pattern rings in the 1010. Booth 1400 and 2200 has snap-in pattern rings. I so wanted one of them, but couldn't justify them. Then I found a used 1400 for about half the price and bought it. I should have bought the 1400 from start. The 1010 isn't used any more.
A couple of weeks ago I was at Festool sale. Stumbled upon a 2200 with 30% off. Couldn't stop myself. Counting in my Bosch which lives in the router table I'd say I have at least two routers more than I need. If I'd do it again I'd go for the 1400 and maybe a 700 instead of the 500. But it's really nice to have a dedicated router in a table. And the 2200 is so nice. And the dust collection is the best, and..
you might see the point comming.. my point is - you are so smoked. Go back to this thread in five years. I'd guess you have about 3-5 routers by then. Good luck [big grin]
