Could the Carvex do this?

Spent yesterday morning making and installing the "Corbel caps" for the fence I"m building. the posts (and therefore the caps) are 6x6 doug fir (5 1/2" nominal). I had to get a new bandsaw blade to make these cuts but then it was easy.

I thought I'd saw something like a 10" carvex blade, so for those of you that have one, would you attempt to make this cut with a Carvex? (see pics)

Thanks.

The maximum cutting capacity of the Carvex is the same as the Trion jigsaws (PS/PSB 300) and that is 4-3/4". It's limited by the length of our largest blade. The blade is 5-3/4" (145mm) in length but there is 1" travel in the blade.

Someone on here used the Trion for similar cuts on a purgola a or  gate arbor,  but they must have been  less than 6"

Thanks Shane. Must been a metric conversion error... :-)
