Hi
I have added a cross cut jig to my 8x4 mft style bench
When I cut across the 4 foot span I get a difference of 0.3mm when test cutting
Has anyone made one of have any comparisons.
It is always 0.3 mm difference on the far measurement when I cut twice to make a test cm wide cut
Thanks
I made this from ron Paulk cross cut with the addition of the kreg track parts to stiffen up the straight edge
also i added a further addition of a small cut side, on the right of the blade, to allow small cuts like on the parallel guide extensions
so far i have found it very useful, the only thing i don't like is that the clamps stick out, so going look into smaller clamps or a built in solution
next is to modify the base of the workbench to allow storage for the jigs
