I recently bought a CMS table unit and TS-55 module unit for my TS-55 (wonderful apparatus - how did I ever live without it?). I also have a CTL Mini and so, wanting the best vacuuming, I got a CS 70 AB hose set (par no. 488292) - and then found to my horror that the double-barreled connector doesn't fit in the Mini. Nor does the rubber end of the vacuum cleaner kit (the grey, big diameter one) fit in the double-barrel, although the sizes are close enough that I can tape them together. Is there any sort of connector that would allow me to avoid doing a lash-up every time?

Hello teemacs, I'm sorry, but I don't know of any connector Festool has to solve your problem. I think you'll have to do with a makeshift solution. Perhaps you could get a meter of the 50 mm hose with connectors on both sides and then use that to connect the Y piece to the CTL Mini.

Hi teemacs, I have a similar set up with a CS50 and CTL Midi. I have contacted Festool on this and they said the midi is not mean for woodworking but primarily for painters and that there is no adapter for the 50 mm hose into the midi. However, they also advised me that I should take a piece of 50 mm drainage piping and that fits both the midi and the Y piece of the CS50. Works great!

The Mini was a big enough stretch for me (and that includes buying it across the border in Germany and getting back the 19% VAT (GST to you)). In addition, my garage is small and storing anything bigger would be a problem.
