CT-15 vac hose question

Hi all - more of a lurker than a poster.  I purchased a CT 15 vac and the tool connector end came off the hose.  I was able to screw the tool connector back on to the hose but it caught me off guard.  Should I accept this as normal?  I did contact support and was told to return the vacuum, which seemed overkill for a hose end. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi.  I have two CT vacs - a CT-36 and a CT-MIDI.  I have also changed the ends of the hose.  If I recall correctly, it is more than just a screw-in end.  There is also a locking clip.  Try gently tugging the end of the hose.  If it comes out of the connector easily, take it back to the store.
