CT 17 cable and hose holder

Hi,
Does anyone know what the holes and hooks are for on the back of the CT 17? Are there any additional parts available?

I tried to find something on the spare parts webpage. But was not successful.
My CTL 26 came with an additional plastic part that can be bolted to the back for putting the cable around it.

I was not very pleased with the method of hanging the cable and hose on the CT 17 anyway. So I used the CTL 26 part as a guideline to build a similar wooden part. Much better for cable and hose parking I think [emoji1]

Sure you can, why not? [emoji2] Maybe you wanna post the result than, I'm curious to see how yours will look like. Guess there is a lot of variation possible.
Still wondering what the four mount holes were originally meant for. Seems it was the same on VCP 170 when it was still labeled Protool. At least from what I saw on pictures googling it. Maybe there was some add on part previously...

There are not that many different things to add on the back of a vac. The holes are either for a hose holder, a handle or an accessory holder. The engineers probably put the holes in place, just in case, but the marketing department never decided to release the accessories. The current Mini/Midi vacs also have some holes in the back, but no part that goes in it.

True, seems to be an issue of CT 17 being the low end of vacs. For the CTL series are a couple of different ones available for cables, accessories or a bucket.
Odd to me though that it's not really convenient to stow the cable and hose on the CT without the additional part. On the CTL it's not really necessary as it's possible to stow both in the hose garage.
Anyways, I found my solution for the CT...  [wink]

Never thought that this was from Kränzle, but this is how the storage is supposed to look like.
So I'll be looking for the replacement part of the Kränzle Ventos 20EL and grandfather my home grown solution... [wink]

This really rocks. Thanks again for the hint on Kränzle. Meanwhile I sent a message to Kränzle as the part number was not in the replacement part table. They quickly replied with the number. It is 454402 for just the holder.
