Last Monday my 3 year old Ct 22 stopped working. I was using a TS55 at the time. I pulled the trigger and the saw would work but the auto start and manual vac positions did not.
The CT 22 has seen light hobby use and it stopped working 3 years to the day I bought it.
I talked to Steve@ Festool USA and he directed me to Claude @Festool Canada. I brought the motor unit in to my dealer on Tuesday - Atlas Machinery and they handled the shipping for me-just a small shipping charge.
It turned out to be a loose connection on the turbine and they replaced the outlet at the same time under warranty.
It was ready for pick up 3 days later!
Just wanted to say thanks and say how impressed I am with the great service response from everyone at Festool and my dealer.
Too bad it was repaired so fast I was about to buy another CT as a back up [smile]
